Dakota Hospital Foundation’s Employee Idea Challenge

Since its beginning in 1930, Dakota Hospital Foundation (DHF) has fulfilled a mission of improving the health of the communities and individuals in our area. DHF is a not-for-profit b501(c)(3) corporation whose mission is “Dedicated to Community Health and Wellness.” In 1989 DHF partnered with Sanford Health Network through a lease agreement for the facilities. Today as a strong and vital part of the community, DHF and Sanford Vermillion Medical Center (SVMC) continue to search for new and innovative ways to serve our citizens, hence our request for proposals from those who work with our with our patients, residents, visitors and staff – Sanford Vermillion Medical Center employees. Only projects with a total cost between $2,500 and $15,000 will be accepted.

Submissions will further DHF’s community health mission. Projects must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Foster and Enhance Clinical Innovation. Development of new and unique programs and services.
  • Support Quality of Life. Enhance quality of life for our residents, patients, visitors and staff.
  • Build Relationships. Enhance existing or develop new relationships which further support DHF’s mission.
