COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP DINNER

On May 23rd, the Dakota Hospital Foundation held our annual community leadership dinner. Every year at the community leadership dinner we recognize a community member with the Community Health Service award. This year’s award was presented to Layne Stewart. The Community Health Service Award recognizes outstanding contributions of time, talent and resources benefiting the health of the community. We are pleased to present this award every year to someone in the community who we feel encompasses these values.

We have been pleased to see this annual dinner grow over the years welcoming over 300
attendees this year. This is also a great opportunity for DHF to promote the great things that are being done and
“How the Magic Happens” at Sanford Vermillion. Sanford Vermillion is dedicated to providing only the best care and that could not be done without the foundations generous contributions.

We are so proud of all the providers for all the great work they do daily at Sanford Vermillion. Board president, Linda Kogel, started the magic with her welcome to the audience and update on DHF happenings. She also shared a big thank you on behalf of all the DHF Board for the generous membership contributions.

Dr. Mary Jo Olson discussed her amazing milestone of delivering 1,000 babies here at Sanford Vermillion. Congratulations Doctor Olson!

We are honored and delighted to pay it forward with an evening of gratitude, highlights, entertainment and a wonderful meal with donors and your guests.
