The SVMC / DHF Community Celebration was a well-attended event, drawing approximately 200 participants, despite some impact from the weather.
Attendees enjoyed a variety of activities and booths, including entertainment from Twisty Ty the Balloon Guy and Dakota Entertainment’s inflatables. The Great Plains Zoo Express, City of Vermillion’s Fire and EMS, Vermillion Police Department, Clay County Sheriff, Vermillion Public Library, USD Head Start, and the Vermillion Cultural Association all had a presence. An educational booth focused on Fall Prevention at Home was also available.
Mister Smith’s catered the meal, and Red Bird Balloons provided additional balloon art.
We are grateful to everyone who attended, volunteered, and helped with setup and cleanup. Your support is what makes this event possible year after year.
