BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF VERMILLION

Boys & Girls Club of Vermillion is a youth-serving organization that champions youth by creating a place and opportunities for young people to understand what is possible and what they can achieve through academics, activities, and leadership.

Each day at the Boys & Girls Club of Vermillion, K-5th grade Club members receive a free healthy snack and are led by caring adult mentors through a variety of outcome-based programs in the priority areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Character & Leadership. Through impactful and purposeful programs, the Club strives to inspire and enable all young people to reach their full potential.

Dakota Hospital Foundation supported Boys & Girls Club of Vermillion as operations began in August 2022 to serve elementary youth within Austin and Jolley Elementary Schools. The Club’s initial goal was to serve 75 youth in year one but has surpassed this goal and currently serves over 125 elementary members and expanded into middle and high school programs through a Club Tutors and Teen Court program. The Club hopes to continue to grow program opportunities for all youth of all ages with the ultimate goal of providing a safe, positive, and affordable drop-in facility available to all families in the Vermillion community.
